Particle 6 is a multi award-winning production company operating completely remotely around the world. Our style is bold, colourful and loud.

 

Our aim is Edutainment: combining education with entertainment for modern, vibrant and engaging content that grabs young audiences’ attention whilst putting accuracy at the core of our work. With physicist Eline at the helm of the company, we take a scientific approach to all our projects - using consistent user testing to shape the final creative.

 

This is reflected in our work with clients including Amazon Prime, BBC, Deliveroo, Cheeky Panda and Pizza Express.

We have two departments: Commercial and Broadcast.

We have become regular suppliers of content for BBC Bitesize, BBC Teach and BBC Three due to our specialism in creating strong, appealing content for young people. Comedy hits include Miss Holland (BBC iPlayer, distributed to NPO in the Netherlands), the Gender Bias Riddle (BBC Three 14M views), Putting It Out There (BBC Three 10M views) and Ivy's Plant Shop (BBC Education).

At Particle 6, we also care deeply about the planet and have used our talents on multiple occasions to inform and spread awareness about the ever changing world. We created a successful social media first campaign piece to accompany the BBC David Attenborough series Extinction: The Facts, designed to reduce viewers’ climate anxiety by providing them with tangible, practical tips to reduce their impact on the planet and promote biodiversity.

What’s more, Our UN Sustainable Development series for BBC Scotland tackled waste reduction and climate protection for a teenage audience, exploring ways in which young people can help contribute to the success of the SDGs through highly relatable examples of the UN’s key principles in action. We also produced an animated series on Where Food Comes From for BBC Scotland for 5 to 7 year olds. It proved so popular that they also released it for broadcast.
