BBC Teach: WW2
For this project, we created engaging and informative videos for BBC Teach on key aspects of the Second World War. The series uses neat animations and captivating personal stories to educate 7-10 year olds about life during the war.
WHAT WE DID
We collaborated with the Imperial War Museum who helped us source incredible footage and showed us amazing artefacts. We interviewed veterans and people who lived through the Second World War and provided a platform for their fascinating experiences. We crammed the video full of digestible facts and figures to help create a deeper historical context.We animated and recoloured archival footage to bring it to life once more.
THE RESULT
10 fascinating videos, each approximately 4 minutes long, that operate as an entertaining, multipurpose resource for teaching history to Key Stage 2. Bold, colourful graphics and a pacey narrative form make for an enthralling watch.
